Jimmy John's in Texas is seeking a shift supervisor to manage daily restaurant operations when the General Manager is away. You will oversee 3–15 staff, train workers, manage supplies, and ensure fast, accurate sandwiches and world-class customer service.

The role involves cash handling, deliveries oversight, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency on shift. Ideal candidates speak fluent English, have strong math skills, and are comfortable using Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently and clearly.
• Strong math abilities including addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages.
• Ability to use a computer and software such as Excel and Word.

Responsabilités

• Manages a staff of approximately three to 15 employees.
• Provides on-the-job training for all employees.
• Delegates and is responsible for ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all supplies to minimize waste and loss.
• Assists in supervising preparation, sales and service of food.
• Forecasts food items and estimates amounts needed per shift.
• Estimates amount of food items to be consumed per shift.
• Supervises food preparation and service during duty periods; assists during rush periods.
• Ensures customers receive world-class service.
• Routes deliveries and supervises drivers to maximize delivery speed.
• Completes daily food preparation tasks and opening procedures.
• Completes closing procedures.
• Maintains integrity and completeness of systems and paperwork.
• Manages cash drawers during shifts and audits previous shift procedures.
• Performs preventive maintenance and upkeep on store equipment.
