Job summary

Fulenwider Enterprises is seeking a Shift Manager for our KFC and Taco Bell locations in China Grove, NC. You will lead a team during your shift, ensure smooth operations, deliver excellent customer service, and uphold brand standards.

You will supervise staff, train new teammates, manage cash, monitor inventory, and prep shift reports. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant or fast-food environment.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to changing circumstances.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safety Certification preferred but not required (can be obtained on the job).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant operations during your shift, including staff management and customer inquiries.
• Motivate and guide your team to deliver exceptional service.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Maintain high food safety standards in preparation, storage and handling.
• Handle cash registers, process payments, and keep accurate records.
• Keep inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation.
• Prepare shift reports with sales, labor costs, and incidents.
• Train new team members on policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Resolve issues quickly to keep operations running smoothly.
• Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and presentable.
• Support promotions and specials to drive sales.
