Job summary

Taziki's Café is looking for team members to join our fast‑casual Mediterranean concept in a friendly, community‑minded setting. You will help guests, support store operations, and contribute to food safety and quality during opening or closing shifts.

Experience is nice but not required; we train. Expect a lively pace, opportunities to connect with guests, and a supportive team focused on fresh, flavorful dishes and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Leadership, guest service, and verbal communication skills with guests/team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to the policies and procedures.
• Energetic, ready to learn, loves fresh food.
• Work flexible schedule.
• Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Must have or obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Opening & closing tasks
• Being responsible for the restaurant when a manager isn’t on duty
• Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your team about their duties
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
• Prepping food and doing side work
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
