Job summary

Taziki's Café is seeking energetic team members for both opening and closing shifts in a fast‑paced restaurant environment. You will assist prep, take-out, and dine-in orders, and help guests with their needs while maintaining high standards of food safety.

Experience is helpful, but we train you. You’ll learn our menu, work across stations, and be part of a community‑m focused team offering great service and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Leadership, guest service, and verbal communication skills with guests/team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to the policies and procedures.
• Energetic, ready to learn, loves fresh food.
• Work flexible schedule.
• Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Must have or obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Opening & closing tasks
• Being responsible for the restaurant when a manager isn’t on duty
• Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your team about their duties
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
• Prepping food and doing side work
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
