Whataburger Restaurants is seeking a Shift Leader to drive operational excellence and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will coach team members, manage shift operations, and uphold food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet business needs with open availability, including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, and reliable attendance.
• Able to stand up to 10 hours and lift up to 55 lbs.
• Experience coaching or leading teams; strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
• ServSafe Food Certification (or ability to obtain during training).

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Coach and motivate Family Members to deliver excellence on the line.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales performance, and basic inventory processes.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive work culture.
• Prepare, lead, and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
