Job summary

Pizza Hut in Texas is seeking a dependable Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, guide a quick-service team, ensure excellent guest service, and uphold food safety and quality standards.

You will schedule staff, monitor performance, handle cash and safety logs, and collaborate with management to drive guest satisfaction. Previous leadership or supervisory experience and strong communication skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and provide direction and support to team members throughout the shift.
• Assign positions and deploy team members based on business needs.
• Ensure every guest receives fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Maintain Pizza Hut standards for food quality, preparation, order accuracy, and presentation.
• Monitor speed of service and adjust team deployment as needed.
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, temperature controls, and food safety procedures.
• Complete required food safety and temperature logs accurately and on time.
• Address and communicate any food safety concerns immediately.
• Lead opening, closing, and shift-change procedures.
• Manage cash handling, register procedures, deposits, and financial controls.
