Jersey Mike's Subs in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations and foster a team-focused, guest-first environment. You’ll lead by example, coach crew members, and ensure our food is prepared to Jersey Mike's standards.

The role emphasizes strong communication, accountability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting. It offers growth opportunities into management, flexible scheduling, and a culture that values teamwork and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, food service, or customer service.
• Leadership experience or readiness to lead a team.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food safety certification may be required and provided if applicable.
• Ability to meet age requirements for slicer equipment where required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during shifts with positive leadership and exceptional service.
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience and ensure quality subs.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members.
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe environment.
• Manage shift execution and opening/closing tasks.
• Assist with inventory, product rotation, and waste reduction.
• Address customer questions professionally and uphold standards.
• Support the General Manager and Assistant Manager daily.
