Job summary

Church's Chicken in Jackson, MS seeks a Shift Leader to guide Team Members on shift, provide coaching and development to deliver outstanding customer experiences, and ensure compliance with Cajun Operating Company policies.

You will monitor service quality, oversee food preparation to standard, manage opening/closing tasks, and uphold cash handling, inventory controls, safety, and professional leadership at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED highly recommended.
• ServSafe food safety training is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Monitors prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service on shift.
• Ensures menu items are prepared and served to standard procedures.
• Oversees task assignments and activities of Team Members.
• Assists Team Members to prepare quality products and maintain a clean restaurant.
• Demonstrates proper procedures for Team Members to follow.
• Enforces safety and security policies and procedures.
• Performs opening and closing duties per Shift Awareness Checklists.
• Maintains proper product procedures for all menu items.
• Handles receiving, storage, and rotation of food products.
• Ensures on-time attendance by each employee for shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
