Zaxbys in Clemson, SC is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise a shift, manage people, and ensure product quality and guest satisfaction. You’ll train and coach team members, delegate tasks, and respond to guest concerns while meeting safety and procedural standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and maintaining high-performance culture in a fast-paced restaurant environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time: 9 to 28 hours per week; Full-time: 32 to 40 hours.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company time punches and local laws.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to make sound judgments aligned with company standards and values.
• Servant leader mindset; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of high performance and train and coach team members to meet company standards.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to the GM.
• Prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve complaints in a friendly manner.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are upheld.
• Receive and reconcile deliveries, stock product, and perform daily inventory counts.
• Manage food production and quality, monitor prep, cooking and holding processes.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening and closing tasks are completed.
• Collaborate with management to develop goals and report progress.
• Follow safety guidelines and report HR/risk concerns to supervision.
