Job summary

WhiteWater Express in Flat Rock, MI is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily operations and lead a front-line team. This full-time role offers paid training, opportunities for promotion, and a pathway to management within a fast-growing company.

You will supervise staff, ensure tasks are completed, and deliver excellent service while helping customers choose wash packages and memberships. Biweekly tips supplement the $17–$19 hourly wage.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Previous leadership, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift.
• Available evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Dependable, motivated, and customer-focused.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure team members understand and complete their responsibilities.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.

• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with incident reports and operational documentation.

• Support store opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and wash quality.
