Job Description

Summary: Assists in the daily oversight, coordination, and execution of objectives related to sales, costs, employee retention, customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.

Summary: Delivers excellent service, product, and image standards to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Provides leadership support to the Manager on Duty (MOD).
  2. Maintains high standards of customer service during high-volume, fast-paced operations.
  3. Communicates clearly and positively with management and team members.
  4. Greets customers in person or via phone and takes orders professionally and promptly.
  5. Provides excellent customer service to encourage repeat business, including menu and specials information.
  6. Communicates daily job assignments for each shift.
  7. Oversees pre-close functions, ensuring service and food quality standards are maintained.
  8. Handles cash management duties, including register counts, tracking cash and coupons, and processing daily reports.
  9. Adheres to waste tracking procedures and food and labor cost best practices.
  10. Upsells additional products when appropriate.
  11. Masters Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing.
  12. Handles currency and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  13. Follows procedures for safe food preparation, assembly, and presentation.
  14. Assists with inventory control and stock ordering.
  15. Builds customer loyalty through friendly interactions and appreciation.
  16. Resolves customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  17. Cross-trains and coordinates scheduling with team members for seamless service.
  18. Proactively seeks additional tasks when scheduled duties are complete.
  19. Assembles and folds boxes, affixes labels and promotional materials as needed.
  20. Prepares various menu items, including pizzas, measuring ingredients accurately.
  21. Reads order slips or verbal instructions carefully to prepare orders according to specifications, often simultaneously managing multiple orders.
  22. Cleans, stocks, and restocks workstations and display cases.
  23. Transfers supplies and tools between storage and work areas.
  24. Packages, weighs, and labels products as required.
  25. Ensures supervisor is aware of any food shortages.
  26. Adheres to all quality standards, principles, and policies.
  27. Performs other duties as assigned.
