Job Description
Summary: Assists in the daily oversight, coordination, and execution of objectives related to sales, costs, employee retention, customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
Summary: Delivers excellent service, product, and image standards to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides leadership support to the Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Maintains high standards of customer service during high-volume, fast-paced operations.
- Communicates clearly and positively with management and team members.
- Greets customers in person or via phone and takes orders professionally and promptly.
- Provides excellent customer service to encourage repeat business, including menu and specials information.
- Communicates daily job assignments for each shift.
- Oversees pre-close functions, ensuring service and food quality standards are maintained.
- Handles cash management duties, including register counts, tracking cash and coupons, and processing daily reports.
- Adheres to waste tracking procedures and food and labor cost best practices.
- Upsells additional products when appropriate.
- Masters Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing.
- Handles currency and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Follows procedures for safe food preparation, assembly, and presentation.
- Assists with inventory control and stock ordering.
- Builds customer loyalty through friendly interactions and appreciation.
- Resolves customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Cross-trains and coordinates scheduling with team members for seamless service.
- Proactively seeks additional tasks when scheduled duties are complete.
- Assembles and folds boxes, affixes labels and promotional materials as needed.
- Prepares various menu items, including pizzas, measuring ingredients accurately.
- Reads order slips or verbal instructions carefully to prepare orders according to specifications, often simultaneously managing multiple orders.
- Cleans, stocks, and restocks workstations and display cases.
- Transfers supplies and tools between storage and work areas.
- Packages, weighs, and labels products as required.
- Ensures supervisor is aware of any food shortages.
- Adheres to all quality standards, principles, and policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
