Job Description

Summary: Assists in overseeing daily operations, coordinating efforts, and executing objectives related to sales, costs, employee retention, customer satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Provides leadership support to the Manager on Duty (MOD).
  2. Maintains high standards of customer service during high-volume, fast-paced operations.
  3. Communicates clearly and positively with management and team members.
  4. Greets customers in person or via phone, taking orders professionally and promptly.
  5. Provides excellent customer service to encourage repeat business, including information about menu and specials.
  6. Supports shift management.
  7. Communicates daily job assignments for each shift.
  8. Oversees pre-close functions, ensuring service and food quality standards are maintained.
  9. Manages cash handling duties, counts registers, tracks cash and coupons for accountability, and processes daily reports.
  10. Adheres to waste tracking procedures and food and labor cost practices.
  11. Upsells additional products when appropriate.
  12. Masters Point of Sale (POS) systems for order taking.
  13. Handles transactions quickly and accurately.
  14. Follows procedures for safe food preparation, assembly, and presentation.
  15. Assists with inventory control and stock ordering.
  16. Builds customer loyalty through friendly interactions and appreciation.
  17. Resolves customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  18. Cross-trains team members and coordinates scheduling for seamless service.
  19. Proactively seeks additional tasks when scheduled duties are complete.
  20. Assembles and folds boxes, affixes labels, and promotional materials as needed.
  21. Prepares various menu items, measuring ingredients accurately.
  22. Reads order slips or verbal instructions to prepare orders according to specifications, often handling multiple orders simultaneously.
  23. Cleans, stocks, and restocks work stations and display cases.
  24. Transfers supplies and tools between storage and work areas.
  25. Packages, weighs, and labels products as required.
  26. Notifies management of food shortages.
  27. Adheres to all quality standards, policies, and procedures.
  28. Performs other duties as assigned.
