A Shift Leader supports the management team in running the location, including but not limited to:

• Coaching staff to deliver excellent customer service
• Producing high-quality food
• Delivering the Jersey Mike's experience
• Cash handling
• Following the Learning Management System Training Program
• Developing team members for career growth
• Enforcing policies and procedures
• Participating in marketing initiatives
• Building sales
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
• Being certified in all four restaurant positions
• Effective communication
• Sense of urgency

A Shift Leader is expected to:

• Move or transport up to 50 lbs without assistance, unless a medical notation is provided, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act or a temporary doctor's note with a specified time frame
• Work 38-40 hours per week
• Have reliable transportation
• Communicate issues to the GM/AGM/DM
• Lead by example in food quality, customer interaction, and appearance

Create food consistent with Jersey Mike's high standards, maintain cleanliness, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitask, interface with customers, and demonstrate accountability and integrity. The role also involves key holding, opening and closing duties, baking and prep, team management of 2-5 people, and proficiency in slicing.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred 1 year QSR experience
• Must be 18+ to operate slicer
• Serve Safe Food Handler Certification
• Reliable transportation
