Summary

Responsibilities

  1. Assist the management team in all aspects of shift management and ensure all guests have an outstanding experience.
  2. Supervise assigned stations for an entire shift.
  3. Provide support, coaching, and professional leadership to team members.
  4. Become certified in all stations including shift management, food handling, cash handling, customer recovery, and catering.
  5. Assist with training and developing crew members.
  6. Prepare food, operate POS, and stock supplies as required.
  7. Monitor safety and security protocols.
  8. Ensure all workstations are clean.
  9. Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
  10. Open or close the restaurant in the absence of a manager following established procedures and safety policies.
  11. Complete checklists for opening, mid-shift, closing, and food safety.
  12. Communicate positively and professionally with customers, team members, and managers.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
  14. Work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  1. Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
  2. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
  3. Supervise shifts and manage the restaurant under management direction.
  4. High school diploma or GED preferred.
  5. Ability to comprehend simple instructions.
  6. No specific computer skills required.
  7. Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems.
  8. Must obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire.
  9. Physical ability to stand regularly, lift up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
  10. Work environment involves exposure to heat and moderate noise levels.
