Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader for our new store in The Woodlands, TX. The Shift Leader will ensure an exceptional customer experience while managing store operations and leading the cookie crew in a fun environment. Responsibilities include training team members, delegating tasks, and maintaining a clean workspace.

The ideal candidate has customer service experience and is outgoing, detail-oriented, and able to motivate others. Part-time flexible work schedules and perks such as daily pay, paid time off, and employee discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of working experience in a customer-service focused role.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills.

Job description

We are hiring a Shift Leader to operate our newest store in The Woodlands, TX (3091 College Park Dr Suite 123, The Woodlands, TX 77384). As a Shift Leader, you are the captain of our bakery day or night, responsible for predicting the flow of business and ensuring a productive and fun shift for our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all guests throughout their experience.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable to company standards and procedures, and assisting in the training and coaching of team members.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team.
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew.
• Provide a safe, clean working environment for guests and staff and adhere to safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.
• Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills & Experience

• At least 1 year of working experience in a customer‑service focused role.
• Point of Sale systems experience.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills.
