Job description

As a Shift Leader at our GSU store located at 1550 Chandler Rd, Statesboro GA 30458, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to "Own the Night" by predicting the flow of business and leading a successful shift. Your hands-on leadership style should include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. It also means taking pride in knowing that your leadership as an Insomniac contributes to a productive and fun night for your store!

What will I do as a Shift Leader?

1. Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests during their experience in our bakery.
2. Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating relevant information, monitoring production efficiency, ensuring team adherence to standards, and assisting in training and coaching team members.
3. Maintain a safe, clean environment for guests and staff, following safe food handling practices.
4. Manage cash handling and deposits.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience with Point of Sale systems.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
