Responsibilities:

• Supervise crew members in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager, coaching, directing, recognizing outstanding behavior, and setting priorities during shifts.
• Train staff on policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety, security, quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Open and/or close the restaurant.
• Create and maintain exceptional guest experiences.
• Contribute to achieving cost and profit goals.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: Must be an EPL Crewmember certified on all EPL SPECS positions or have at least 1 year of restaurant supervisory experience.
• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class upon hire.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills; second language a plus.
• Skills: Basic math and computer skills, strong customer service skills.
• Food Safety: Must have or obtain a Serve Safe Certificate at the time of hire.
• Work Hours: Full-time hours with possible overtime.
• Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement from Shift Leader to roles such as Assistant Manager, General Manager, and beyond.
• Attire: EPL logo shirt provided, black slacks, and no-slip shoes required.
