Responsibilities:

• Oversee crew members in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager
• Coach, direct, recognize outstanding performance, and set priorities during shifts
• Train team members on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety, security, quality, and cleanliness standards
• Handle opening and/or closing duties of the restaurant
• Create and ensure exceptional guest experiences
• Contribute to achieving cost and profit goals

Requirements:

• Experience: Must be an EPL Crewmember certified on all EPL SPECS positions or have at least 1 year of restaurant supervisory experience
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred; must pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class upon hire
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills; second language a plus
• Skills: Basic math and computer skills, strong customer service skills
• Food Safety: Serve Safe Certificate required at hire or obtain one where applicable
• Work Hours: Full-time hours, with some overtime expected
• Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement from Shift Leader to Assistant Manager, General Manager, Area Leader, and beyond
• Attire: EPL logo’d shirt provided, black slacks, and no-slip shoes required
