Job Description - About the Job:

Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, the Shift Leader assists in the management of shifts within their Taco Bell restaurant following the policies and guidelines of the company to ensure customer satisfaction and profit maximization. The Shift Leader will perform hands-on work to train employees, respond to customer service needs, and model appropriate behaviors in the restaurant.

Responsibilities of the Shift Leader Position:
  1. Maintaining fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensuring products are consistent with company quality standards.
  2. Ensures a safe working environment by role modeling and requiring safe work behaviors.
  3. Motivates and trains.
  4. Ensures company standards on equipment, facility, and grounds are maintained by using a preventative maintenance program.
  5. Ensures food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
  6. Ensures complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing plans.
  7. Champions recognition and motivation efforts
  8. Provides regular feedback to the team and RGM.

Minimum Requirements: Is This You?
  1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  2. Supervisory experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry or retail environment
  3. Attendance and Punctuality a must
  4. Basic business math skills
  5. Good oral/written communication skills
  6. Basic personal computer literacy
  7. Enthusiasm and willing to learn.
  8. Team player
