Job summary

Barberitos is seeking a motivated shift leader to oversee daily operations during designated shifts, supervise employees, and ensure customers receive outstanding service.

You will create shift schedules, handle no-shows, delegate tasks, manage cash deposits, and report issues to management. Evening and weekend shifts may be required to ensure smooth operations and top-notch customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience as a Shift Leader or similar role in retail is preferred.
• Experience creating shift schedules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Confident problem-solver with a team mindset.
• Team player with reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees, assign duties, and create shift schedules.
• Monitor team performance and ensure duties are performed efficiently.
• Report issues to management during shifts.
• Manage employee requests and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards.
• Coach and train staff as needed.
• Open/close registers, tally daily intake, and handle cash deposits.
• Address customer issues and resolve employee disputes.
