Penn Station Sandwiches is seeking a Shift Leader to manage opening, mid-shift, and closing schedules and to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, coaching, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety while delivering a top-notch hospitality experience to every guest.

Qualifications

• You must be team-oriented, friendly, honest, and have great customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be at least 17 years old.

Responsibilities

• Serving guests by taking orders, handling cash and credit cards, and providing a respectful response to guest needs.
• Delivering meals to guests at their table or designated pickup area with excellent service.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, dining room, parking lot and restrooms.
• Stock as needed to maintain inventory during shift.
• Lead and coach a team to uphold hospitality standards and guest experience.
• Train team members on policies and procedures and foster a positive work environment.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Open and/or close the restaurant leading the shift as a key holder.

• Maintain cleanliness of your work area and the dining room, parking lot, and restrooms.
• Stock as needed to maintain inventory throughout your shift.
• Effectively manage and lead a team of people serving our guests while maintaining our operating standards to provide the best hospitality and guest experience.
• Coaching, teaching and training team members on policies and procedures and creating a positive work environment for everyone.
