Job summary

Insomniacookies is seeking a Shift Leader for their UoL store in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will oversee bakery operations, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a productive environment. You’ll lead the Cookie Crew, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to high standards of quality and safety.

Shift Leader

As a Shift Leader at our UoL store located at 339 W. Cardinal Blvd Louisville, KY 40208, you are the captain of bakery operations day or night. Your hands‑on leadership style includes building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. You predict the flow of business during a successful shift, maintain a productive and fun night for your store.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all guests throughout their experience.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable to company standards and procedures, and assisting in training and coaching of team members.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team.
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew.
• Provide a safe, clean working environment for guests and staff and adhere to safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.
