ROLE SUMMARY

This role is about becoming a leader. You are responsible for supervising and coaching team members who need your guidance. You also own every shift you run, which has a broader impact on team members, customers, and the business. You set an example that others follow. Your reputation depends on running shifts effectively and profitably. On your shift, you are the leader.

Key Responsibilities (what Shifts do)

    • Quickly identifies core issues in complex situations
    • Encourages questions from the team and discusses potential options beyond current practices
  • Know How Builder
    • Seeks continuous feedback to improve performance
    • Executes shift success routines effectively
    • Follows core operational procedures such as shift accountability, product projections, Repair & Maintenance (R&M) spending, and Cost of Sales/Cost of Labor (COS/COL) controls during each shift
  • People Grower
    • Promotes and models the 'How We Win Together' (HWWT²) and 'Achieving Breakthrough Results' (ABR) culture within the store
    • Supports the RGM/AUM in implementing training strategies using the Learning Zone and on-the-job activities
    • Uses the EARS Model (Explore, Analyze, Respond, Make it Stick) to develop team capabilities
    • Holds team members accountable for underperformance
    • Recognizes outstanding performance with CHAMPS cards to reinforce success
    • Maintains positive energy at all times
