Job Description: Shift Leader at Insomnia Cookies

As a Shift Leader at our Lincoln, NE store located at 1602 O St., you are the captain of our bakery during your shift. You understand what it takes to “Own the Night” by predicting the flow of business and leading a successful team. Your hands-on leadership involves building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and customer interaction. You will also take pride in knowing that your leadership contributes to a productive and enjoyable night for your store.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products
• Support store operations during your shift, including communication, monitoring efficiency, and team training
• Delegate tasks related to baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning, while leading the Cookie Crew
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to food safety standards
• Manage cash handling and deposits

Desired Skills and Experience

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with Point of Sale systems
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
