Responsibilities:

• Oversee crew members in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager
• Coach, direct, recognize outstanding behavior, and set priorities during shifts
• Train crew members on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety, security, quality, and cleanliness standards
• Open and/or close the restaurant
• Create and ensure a superior guest experience
• Contribute to achieving cost and profit goals

Requirements:

• Experience: Must be an EPL Crewmember certified on all EPL SPECS positions or have 1+ years of restaurant supervisory experience
• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; must pass EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) upon hire
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills; second language a plus
• Skills: Basic math, computer skills, and strong customer service skills
• Food Safety: Serve Safe Certificate required at hire or obtained upon hiring
• Work Hours: Full-time, with possible overtime
• Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement from Shift Leader to Assistant Manager, General Manager, Area Leader, and beyond
• Attire: EPL logo shirt provided, black slacks, and no-slip shoes required
