Position Overview

In this lively leadership role, the Shift Supervisor champions Papa Murphy's commitment to quality, service, integrity, and teamwork by:

1. Conquering all aspects of the Crew Member position.
2. Overseeing and encouraging all team members to perform their best on shift.
3. Ensuring all store tasks are completed to meet business needs.
4. Energizing team members to meet or exceed standards for guest service, product quality, food handling, sanitation, safety, and security.
5. Holding oneself and team members accountable for cash handling, scheduling, breaks, opening/closing duties, and shift paperwork using the POS system.
6. Handling emergencies, guest complaints, equipment issues, product shortages, and team problems calmly and professionally.
7. Training and developing team members for growth and success.
8. Operating the store independently in the absence of the manager.

What You Bring To The Table

• Effective communication, reading, and basic math skills
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Ability to manage difficult guest and team situations
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and POS
• Knowledge of store financials such as P&Ls, food and labor costs

Foundations Of Your Career

• Desire to be a team player and lead positively
• At least six months experience in QSR or previous crew involvement
• Ability to build positive relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and guests
• Food safety knowledge preferred (food handlers' card or ServeSafe certification)

Other Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, handle objects, reach, and perform cleaning duties
• Lift up to 30 pounds
• Punctuality and regular attendance
