Description of Position

The Shift Leader works as part of our restaurant team to ensure exceptional service and delicious food in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The role involves overseeing full and partial shifts, including opening and closing the restaurant, maintaining inventory, and ensuring food quality and sanitation standards are met.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Leading, monitoring, coaching, and training team members to ensure operational excellence.
• Adhering to scheduled labor metrics and monitoring sales throughout the shift.
• Completing all assigned cleaning duties thoroughly and with integrity.
• Proficient in all restaurant positions and working hands-on with team members.
• Providing an exceptional guest experience by following service standards.
• Performing opening and closing managerial duties, including readiness checklists and cash handling.
• Handling guest issues or conflicts and reporting them to the General Manager.
• Managing food orders, checks, and storage.
• Completing daily temperature checks to ensure food safety.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and fun work environment.
• Communicating effectively with the management team about essential business information.
• Reporting team member issues or concerns to the General Manager.

Qualifications

Other Requirements

• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including overhead lifting.
