A Shift Leader is responsible for supporting the management team in the execution of running their assigned location. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Coaching staff to deliver amazing customer service
• Producing high-quality food
• Delivering the Jersey Mike's experience
• Cash handling
• Following the Learning Management System Training Program
• Developing others for career growth
• Enforcing policies and procedures
• Participating in local and national marketing initiatives
• Building sales
• Maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation practices
• Being certified in all four positions of the restaurant
• Effective communication
• Having a sense of urgency

A Shift Leader is expected to:

• Move or transport up to 50 lbs without assistance unless a medical notation is provided, with accommodations for disabilities
• Work 38-40 hours per week
• Have reliable transportation
• Communicate with the GM/AGM/DM regarding any issues
• Lead by example in quality, interaction, customer service, and appearance

Create food consistent with Jersey Mike's high standards, maintain a cleaner restaurant environment, work in a fast-paced team-driven atmosphere, multitask effectively, interface with customers, understand accountability and integrity, serve as Key Holder, perform opening and closing tasks, know how to bake bread and perform prep, manage and lead a crew of 2-5 people, and be proficient in slicing.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year QSR experience preferred
• Must be 18+ to operate the slicer
• Serve Safe Food Handler Certification
• Reliable transportation

Tips range between $4 - $6/hour on top of hourly wage!
