Job summary

Insomniacookies is seeking a Shift Leader for our Downtown Evansville, IN location at 318 Main Street. You will captain the bakery shift, predict workflow, and lead by example to deliver great customer service and quality products.

You will manage operations during your shift, delegate tasks, coach team members, and ensure safety and clean standards. This role offers growth opportunities and a fun team environment with cookies to enjoy after every shift.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with Point of Sale systems is required.
• Strong communication, time management and people skills are essential.
• Must be outgoing, friendly, patient and detail oriented.
• Able to lead by example and motivate team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to guests in our bakery.
• Support store leadership by maintaining shift operations and communicating important information.
• Delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging and cleaning while leading the cookie crew.
• Collaborate with the Cookie Crew and ensure a safe, clean working environment with proper food handling.
• Manage cash handling and deposits and uphold company standards and procedures.

As a Shift Leader at our Downtown Evansville, IL store located at 318 Main Street, Evansville IN 47708 you are the captain of our bakery day or night! What Will I Do as a Shift Leader?

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all of our guests throughout their experience within our bakeries
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable to company standards and procedures, and assisting in the training and coaching of team members
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew
• Provide a safe, clean, working environment for our guests and staff and adhere to safe food handling practices
• Manage cash handling and deposits

Desired Skills / Experience

• At least 1 year of working experience in a customer service focused role
