As a Shift Leader at our Downtown Des Moines store located at 405 Court Avenue, Des Moines IA 50309, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to “Own the Night” by predicting the flow of business and leading a successful team. Your hands-on leadership should include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. Taking pride in your role as a leader will contribute to a productive and fun environment for your store.

WHAT WILL I DO AS A SHIFT LEADER?

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests
• Support store operations during your shift, communicate relevant information, monitor production efficiency, and assist in training team members
• Delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the Cookie Crew
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to food safety practices
• Manage cash handling and deposits

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with Point of Sale systems
• Strong communication, time management, and people skills
• Outgoing, friendly, and patient
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 or older
