Shift Leader - Opening or Closing Shift

At Chick-fil-A, Team Leaders assist the management team in all aspects of shift management and ensure that each restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. They supervise assigned stations for an entire shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant in the absence of a manager following the established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that team members follow recipes, read tickets, and accurately prepare all orders.
• Maintain accuracy of weights and measurements for all recipe items.
• Maintain a pace that meets the restaurant’s speed of service guidelines.
• Ensure workstations are clean at all times.
• Ensure cashiers follow cash handling procedures and hold them accountable to policies.
• Monitor dining room, restroom, parking lot and overall facility cleanliness.
• Perform any of the above tasks as needed throughout the shift.
• Address guest issues and consult with management on complex issues.
• Maintain a positive working relationship, treating all employees with respect and providing direction and feedback.
• Communicate employee performance and policy violations to management for appropriate handling.
• Strictly adhere to all company policies and procedures.
