Responsibilities:

• Oversee crew members in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager
• Coach, direct, recognize outstanding behavior, and set priorities during shifts
• Train team members on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety, security, quality, and cleanliness standards
• Assist with opening and/or closing the restaurant
• Create and ensure a superior guest experience
• Contribute to achieving cost and profit goals

Requirements:

• Experience: Must be an EPL Crewmember certified on all EPL SPECS positions or have at least 1 year of restaurant supervisory experience
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class upon hire
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills; second language a plus
• Competencies: Basic math and computer skills, strong customer service skills
• Food Handler Card: Must have or obtain a Serve Safe Certificate at the time of hire
• Work Hours: Full-time, with some overtime expected
• Career Development: Opportunities to advance from Shift Leader to Assistant Manager, General Manager, Area Leader, and beyond
• Work Attire: EPL logo’d shirt provided; black slacks and no-slip shoes required
