Job summary

&pizza in College Park, MD is seeking a Shift Leader to run shifts, lead with personality, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a high-volume shop. You will engage with guests and guide team members to deliver smiles and consistent service.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong hospitality, time-management, and the ability to multitask while maintaining safety standards. This role requires English fluency and on-floor presence most of the shift.

Qualifications

• Must pass a Food Safety Certification course within 45 days of start.
• Must manage a fast-paced, high-volume shop with guest focus.
• Excellent hospitality and guest service are essential.
• Strong time-management and multi-tasking are required.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand/move for long periods.
• Must speak conversational English and be on the floor 80–90% of shift.

IN SHOP REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused shop.
• Best in class hospitality
• As a requirement of the position, shift leaders must pass a Food Safety Certification course within 45 days of start.
• Strong time-management skills. Ability to multi-task, to prioritize, and to organize.
• Must spend 80-90% of working shift on the floor or in the front of the shop.
• Be able to lift at least 30 pounds regularly and frequently reach, crouch, squat + bend
• Be able to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours or as needed
• Be able to handle a knife confidently
• Be able to speak conversational English
