Job summary

&pizza in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Shift Leader to run shifts with energy, lead the team, and ensure guests and staff leave with smiles. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations and uphold a friendly, fast-paced service environment.

As a Shift Leader, you’ll manage daily tasks on the floor, drive guest satisfaction, and model strong teamwork while maintaining quality and safety standards. Growth opportunities are available within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be able to manage a fast-paced, high-volume shop
• Demonstrates best-in-class hospitality and guest focus
• Must pass a Food Safety Certification course within 45 days of start
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and organize effectively
• Spends 80-90% of shift on the floor or at the front of the shop
• Physically able to lift 30 pounds and perform frequent bending, squatting, and standing
• Capable of prolonged mobility up to 8 hours or as needed
• Able to handle a knife confidently
• Speak conversational English

IN SHOP REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused shop.
• Best in class hospitality
• As a requirement of the position, shift leaders must pass a Food Safety Certification course within 45 days of start.
• Strong time-management skills. Ability to multi-task, to prioritize, and to organize.
• Must spend 80-90% of working shift on the floor or in the front of the shop.
• Be able to lift at least 30 pounds regularly and frequently reach, crouch, squat + bend
• Be able to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours or as needed
• Be able to handle a knife confidently
• Be able to speak conversational English
