Shift Leaders are responsible for coaching Crew Members throughout their shift to execute Dunkin' Donuts operational standards and deliver a great guest experience. They set goals, provide job assignments, and motivate others, celebrating successes and providing timely feedback to correct deficiencies.

Responsibilities Include
  1. Talk employees into, through, and out of position on each shift, communicating responsibilities, providing feedback, and recognizing achievements respectfully.
  2. Deploy team members appropriately to meet guests' needs and service standards throughout shift.
  3. Support training of Crew Members as directed by General Manager or Assistant Manager.
  4. Communicate goals and hold team members accountable for performance during shift.
  5. Prioritize guest satisfaction and role model exceptional guest service.
  6. Drive urgency among Crew Members to satisfy guests' needs and resolve problems.
  7. Reinforce the use of systems, tools, and procedures throughout the shift, correcting deficiencies as needed.
  8. Monitor team performance to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness standards are met.
  9. Ensure restaurant standards and marketing initiatives are properly executed during shift.
  10. Follow all systems and processes to control labor costs, food costs, and cash during shift.
  11. Ensure Crew Members comply with policies related to cleanliness, food safety, and safety/security during shift.
  12. Report equipment issues, provide performance feedback, and discuss opportunities with the General Manager.
  13. Comply with all restaurant, Brand, and franchisee policies.
Qualifications
  1. Must be able to fluently speak/read English.
  2. Math and writing skills.
  3. Experience in restaurant, retail, or supervisory roles preferred.
  4. Guest focus – anticipate and exceed guests' expectations.
  5. Passion for results – set targets and deliver commitments.
  6. Problem solving and decision making skills.
  7. Ability to build effective teams and enable decision-making at all levels.
