Job summary

Insomniacookies is hiring a Shift Leader for Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA. You will lead a bakery shift, ensure great customer service, and oversee operations from baking to cashiering—while mentoring team members in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Requirements include 1+ year in customer service, POS experience, and strong communication. Eligible to work in the U.S.; 18+ years old. Flexible part-time schedules and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Shift Leader – Harvard Square (65 Mount Auburn St, Cambridge, MA)

As a Shift Leader at our Harvard Square store located at 65 Mount Auburn St, Cambridge MA 02138, you are the captain of our bakery day or night! You understand what it takes to “Own the Night” (and beyond), by predicting the flow of business during a successful shift. Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all of our guests throughout their experience within our bakeries
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable to company standards and procedures, and assisting in the training and coaching of team members
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew
• Provide a safe, clean, working environment for our guests and staff and adhere to safe food handling practices
• Manage cash handling and deposits
