Responsibilities:

• Oversee crew members in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager
• Coach, direct, and recognize team members, establishing priorities during shifts
• Train staff on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety, security, quality, and cleanliness standards
• Open and/or close the restaurant
• Create and maintain a superior guest experience
• Contribute to achieving cost and profit goals

Requirements:

• Experience: Must be an EPL Crewmember certified on all EPL SPECS positions or have at least 1 year of restaurant supervisory experience
• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; must pass EPL Food Safety Audit upon hire
• Communication: Excellent English written and verbal skills; second language is a plus
• Skills: Basic math, computer proficiency, and strong customer service skills
• Food Handler Card: Serve Safe Certification required at hire or obtained upon hiring
• Work Hours: Full-time, with possible overtime
• Career Growth: Opportunities to advance from Shift Leader to higher management roles
• Work Attire: EPL logo shirt provided, black slacks, and no-slip shoes required
