Production Team Lead

Shift Details:

• 1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:50am - 3:00pm. Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
• 2nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:50pm - 11:00pm. Pay Rate: $22.00/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential

Allow me to introduce you to Kutol Products Company, a thriving hand soap and hand sanitizer manufacturer operating out of our Silver LEED Certified facility in Sharonville, Ohio. We process and package cosmetic and drug formulas that work with our proprietary dispensing systems across the country and beyond. We are currently seeking a Production Team Lead-Machine Operator to join us in our purpose of providing "Clean Hands for a Healthy World."

At Kutol, our Production Team Lead-Machine Operator provides team leadership in the safe and efficient running of filling lines to produce quality products for on-time shipment. Responsible for correct setup and production of orders according to customer specifications. We have openings for:

Production Team Lead - Machine Operator for 1st and 2nd Shifts

The responsibilities of this role include:

1. Training, delegating, and assigning tasks to team members, managing the team positively to achieve results.
2. Operating filling equipment, setting up, cleaning, and changing over lines to minimize downtime.
3. Reading and following work orders and instructions to ensure product meets specifications and GMP requirements.
4. Meeting production goals, ensuring quality, and reporting issues promptly.
5. Collaborating with the Process Improvement Manager to standardize work methods.
6. Completing paperwork and documentation accurately.
7. Coordinating with warehouse for material staging and liquid processing.
8. Performing line clearance before starting new runs.
9. Performing minor maintenance and repairs, reporting complex issues for repair.
10. Upholding safety and operational procedures, addressing non-compliance issues.
11. Providing updates during shift changes.
12. Maintaining 5S standards for safety and housekeeping.
13. Operating forklifts if trained and authorized.
14. Performing other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8th grade reading and math proficiency.
• At least 2 years experience in manufacturing and production lines.
• Ability to read work orders, use hand tools, lead teams, and understand manufacturing processes.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand/walk up to 100%, tolerate dusty/chemical conditions.
