Job summary

Penn Station Sandwiches in Bedford, IN is seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to support restaurant operations and lead a guest-focused team during opening, mid-shift, and closing periods.

You will manage guest needs, oversee cash handling, ensure food safety and cleanliness, coach team members, and uphold hospitality standards to deliver a superior guest experience at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be team-oriented with strong customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Be authorized to work in the United States and be at least 17 years old.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and handle cash/credit with a respectful response to all guest needs.
• Deliver meals to guests at table or pickup area while ensuring excellent service.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, dining room, parking lot, and restrooms.
• Stock as needed to maintain inventory throughout the shift.
• Lead and coach team members while upholding hospitality and operating standards.
• Train team members on policies and procedures and foster a positive work environment.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Open and/or close the restaurant leading the shift as a key holder.

• Effectively manage and lead a team of people serving our guests while maintaining our operating standards to provide the best hospitality and guest experience.
