A Shift Leader supports the management team in running the location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coaching staff to deliver excellent customer service
• Ensuring high-quality food production
• Delivering the Jersey Mike's experience
• Cash handling
• Following the Learning Management System Training Program
• Developing team members for career growth
• Enforcing policies and procedures
• Participating in marketing initiatives
• Building sales
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
• Being certified in all four restaurant positions
• Effective communication
• Sense of urgency

A Shift Leader is expected to:

• Move or transport up to 50 lbs without assistance, unless covered by medical documentation or ADA accommodations
• Work 38-40 hours per week
• Have reliable transportation
• Communicate issues to management
• Lead by example in quality, interaction, and presentation
