Job summary

Home Oil Company, Inc is seeking a motivated Shift Leader to help run store operations, support staff, and deliver excellent customer service at our Alabama location. The role involves mentoring employees, handling cash, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment.

You will supervise daily activities, assist with inventory and ordering, and step in for the Store Manager when needed. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Retail or convenience store experience required
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to open/close the store and handle cash responsibly

Responsibilities

• Train and onboard new employees

• Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
