Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Shift Lead to perform duties of a Client Services Coordinator or Vet Assistant when needed, supporting Practice Manager and COS to maximize hospital productivity and profitability. You will help guide the team, ensure high-quality care, and foster a strong client-focused culture.

Responsibilities include scheduling, staff development, and ensuring compliance with Banfield policies, while maintaining exceptional client service and pet care standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years veterinary hospital experience.
• Commitment to preventive care and high quality client service.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings.
• Able to work in a loud, smells-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist hospital leadership to develop an efficient, productive team.
• Supervise team when needed and ensure quality medical care and service.
• Schedule staff to meet client needs and plan time off and CE.
• Ensure compliance with practice policies and dress guidelines.
• Deliver education to clients about wellness plans and services.
