Job summary

Mars Petcare hospital is seeking a Shift Lead to perform CSC and veterinary assistant duties while providing leadership across shifts. You will support Practice Manager and COS, ensuring effective communication with clients and associates and helping maximize productivity and patient care.

Responsibilities include client education, scheduling and documentation, assisting with procedures, and maintaining safe, clean exam rooms and labs to support the veterinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical settings as a CSC or veterinary assistant/technician.
• Ability to coordinate paraprofessional staff across shifts.
• Familiarity with veterinary clinic operations and wellness plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a CSC and/or veterinary assistant/technician to support patient care.
• Lead paraprofessional staff and assist Practice Manager in daily operations.
• Educate clients about pet health and wellness plans and ensure smooth client flow.
