Cloverdale Foods is hiring an Assistant Foreman to lead the 3rd shift Smokehouse team in our Mandan, ND facility. You will manage daily operations, supervise staff, ensure safety, quality, and on-time production to meet sales orders.

The role requires strong communication, GMP/SQF compliance, and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced meat processing environment with attention to food safety.

Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed based on operational requirements.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three or more years supervising and managing departments and individuals, preferably in meat processing.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP/food safety principles, SQF, and USDA requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with employees at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee department activities and performance to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Communicate expected performance results and disseminate production information to shift personnel.
• Oversee setup and operation of room equipment to meet the production schedule.
• Review and update Standard Operating Procedures and ensure compliance.
• Monitor production flow and drive throughput improvements; lead continuous improvement projects.
• Communicate issues to Foreman and coordinate with Maintenance/QA as needed.
• Address employee issues using coaching and progressive discipline.
• Identify training needs and develop team members.
• Conduct Safety Observation Audits and Lockout/Tagout audits.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, SSOP, GMP, and SQF requirements.
