Job summary

Cloverdale Foods in Mandan, ND is seeking a Sanitation Technician responsible for food safety and sanitation across the facility. The role requires self-motivation, adherence to SOPs, GMPs and safety rules, with work in varied environments including dusty, hot, cold, and wet areas.

You will operate scrubbers, gas-powered cleaning equipment, record sanitation activities, and follow color-coded procedures while maintaining compliance with USDA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Familiarity with USDA regulations and GMP practices.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to follow strict cleaning protocols.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation for multiple production areas and documentation of sanitation activities.
• Operate scrubber, sweeper, and gas-powered cleaning equipment as necessary.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents of any size.
• Use chemicals per MSDS and color-coded protocols.
