Job summary

Walgreens in Westbrook, CT is seeking a capable store teammate to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash, and ensure floors and stock rooms are ready for the day.

You will engage customers, process returns, refunds, pricing changes, and assist with inventory, displays, and basic maintenance. Prior leadership and fluency in English are required; wage is $19–$22 per hour.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership or supervisory/retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• PTCB certification or state pharmacy license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management and handles start-ups and cash.
• Comes with keeping doors and deliveries organized and managing cash at registers.
• Provides excellent customer service and resolves issues to create a positive experience.
• Assists with inventory, pricing changes, signage, and displays.
• Maintains store cleanliness, safety, and adherence to policies; supports housekeeping and maintenance.
