Job summary

QDOBA is seeking a proactive Shift Lead to manage restaurant operations with the Restaurant Manager, focusing on guest service, food quality, and brand compliance.

You will lead daily activities, train team members, monitor costs, and ensure adherence to safety and policy standards while striving for a positive guest experience.

The role requires at least 6 months in restaurant ops, HS diploma, English communication, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; age restrictions may apply.
• 6+ months of restaurant operations experience.
• Must complete Shift Lead training classes; ServSafe certification in some states.
• English communication required; Spanish helpful.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills required.
• Access to transportation and driving requirement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain brand image through restaurant cleanliness, maintenance and service.
• Treat all team members with respect and dignity.
• Follow guidelines and protocols for daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance.
• Encourage restaurant teams to deliver excellent guest service and food quality in line with brand systems and safety.
• Work with team members to drive long-term sales growth initiatives.
• Review and modify operations to improve guest experience.
• Identify internal candidates for Shift Lead and assist training.
• Assist in employee training and ensure operations align with standards.
• Interact with guests and the community; address questions and escalate when needed.
• Assist Restaurant Manager in using tools to analyze operational and financial performance.
• Identify trends and support actions for improvement.
• Monitor costs and adherence to budget and goals.
