Job summary

Qdoba Baken Park is seeking a Shift Lead to support restaurant operations under the General Manager. You will help maintain brand standards, ensure food quality and guest satisfaction, and train team members to uphold procedures and safety.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in restaurant operations, basic POS and math skills, and strong English communication. Availability for varied shifts, including weekends, is required to keep the unit running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.
• 6+ months of restaurant operations experience.
• Must complete Shift Lead training classes; ServSafe certification in some states.
• Excellent English communication; Spanish is helpful.
• Basic reading, writing, math and POS/computer skills.
• Must have access to transportation and meet driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain brand image through cleanliness, maintenance and service.
• Treat all team members with respect and dignity.
• Follow guidelines and protocols to achieve excellence in operations.
• Lead teams to deliver guest service and food quality per brand standards and food safety.
• Assist in driving long-term sales growth initiatives.
• Review and improve guest experience; train internal candidates for Shift Lead.
• Assist GM with training staff and ensuring standards.
• Interact with guests; address questions/concerns; escalate as needed.
• Use management tools to analyze restaurant performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor costs and adhere to budget and restaurant goals.
• Comply with state and federal labor laws and regulations.
