Job summary

Anheuser-Busch is looking for a hands‑on Shift Lead to oversee daily pub operations at Basecamp Brewpub. The role centers on People & Guest Experience, Operational Excellence, and Business Accountability to drive high standards on every shift.

You will lead from the floor, train staff, and ensure smooth execution of service and procedures while maintaining a safe, welcoming atmosphere for guests and team members.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in restaurants, brewpubs, bars, hospitality, or similar service environment.
• 1+ years of management experience in restaurants, brewpubs, bars, hospitality, or similar service environment.
• Ability to lead, coach, and provide direction to employees in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to balance guest, employee, and business needs while maintaining operational standards.
• Comfortable working with point‑of‑sale, scheduling, timekeeping, and other operational systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Must meet applicable requirements for responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with hands‑on leadership on each shift.
• Provide a positive, welcoming experience for guests and team members.
• Lead server training and reinforce service expectations through coaching.
• Support pre‑shift and post‑shift communication and daily priorities.
• Assist onboarding and integration of new team members.
• Contribute to private events and pub programming.
• Foster teamwork, professionalism, accountability and effective communication.
