Job summary
Anheuser-Busch in Houston is seeking a Brewery Area Manager - Logistics to lead a front-line, unionized team in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment. You will develop production plans, schedules, and inventories while ensuring quality and on-time beer delivery.
The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, continuous improvement, and safety within packaging and brewing operations. Shift options include off-shift hours, with opportunities to influence process enhancements and cost control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required or strong equivalent in engineering, supply chain, science or related field.
- Experience in a unionized production environment preferred.
- Willingness to work off-shift hours and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Front-line manager supervising a unionized team in a 24/7 production facility.
- Develop, monitor production plans, inventories, and production schedules.
- Direct packaging activities to meet KPI targets and quality standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve operations and exceed KPI goals.
- Lead manpower planning, training, coaching and safety compliance.
- Drive lean and six sigma initiatives to improve processes.
